It’s not our fault, it’s just YOUR personal definition of a café. We are NOT running a restaurant and we don’t charge service charge. When the service charge system was not in place when we first started, customers are supposed to take ice water and bread THEMSELVES. We are running a café like I just said. When you go to other cafés like those in the library or other shopping centres, do they serve customers ice water? Or refill your ice water? We have to do that though we are not paid extra for that. Please do not ASSUME things cos you are only making a fool out of yourself. The food we serve are of cos pre-packed cos we don’t have space to rear pigs for pork ribs nor rear chickens for your chicken cutlets, but pre-packing also has its purpose, the food needs to be marinated. Microwaving food is only a step of cooking your food but we have other steps in cooking your food other that microwaving it. Our kitchen is not a factory whereby there is one whole row of people doing the same product therefore we cannot “produce” the food as fast as some customers may think. Its not that we are taking our own sweet time but food takes time to be cooked and the cooking time is not decided by us, ask the food why it takes so long to cook of you are wondering why it takes so long to cook. Deserts are also microwaved cos we don’t have the resources to do the deserts on time. If a customer wants to eat ice-cream, does that mean we have to start beating the eggs and stuff the keep stirring it till it forms into ice-cream on the spot? Please don’t criticize unless you think if you were put at that spot, you can do better than that. That is why I don’t blame other restaurants when they have shortcomings. I admit we do have shortcomings but I still think that it is just minor stuff. Understanding customers deserve good service, but not for the opposite.
