i was conned!! this is what happened..

around 2 weeks ago, i walked past this M1 distributor shop at queensway shopping centre.. i saw the phone i want to buy, K800i and the price was $98 as on the board placed outside the shop.. i went in to ask as $98 is at a very low price..

the guy: erm, what plan are you using? cos that price is for high end plan de
me: student plan
the guy: student plan is $198 leh

resonable enough.. cos thats the price in the market now.. i stood there considering..

the guy: erm.. so how? wanna get it?
me: but my plan only 19 months plus leh.. havent reached 20 months leh.. like that must add $100 more..
the guy: never mind la.. if you want i can write everything on the form nicely then when your contract reaches 20 month then i submit lor
me: oh.. ok.. but my friends also wanna buy phones.. i will come back again k
the guy: ok

the next day.. i went back..

me: this one is promotion ah?
the guy: ya
me: then when end?
the guy: while stock last lor
me: hm then by your judging, you think 2 or 3 weeks later still got ma? cos i buying with my friends also.. they not ready yet..
the guy: should be still got la.. if you scared no more stock then you put deposit first lor, then by that time you come back pay the rest then take the goods lor..
me: hm.. i gotta ask my friends first..

i walked off, didnt put deposit

today:
me: that time i came.. the k800i..
the guy: oh you buying le ah?
me: ya.. but now only 19months 20 days.. around 10 more days to 20 months.. can right?
the guy: cannot la
me: huh, but i thought that time you say can? then when the time comes you submit for me?
the guy: cos i dont know after that 10 days the price of the phone still the same or not.. so cannot.. maybe lesser maybe more ex..
me: erm ok lor.. (slowly wanna walk out of the shop)
the guy: if not, you buy without the line la.. then after that 10 days you "sell" me back then i return you the money lor.. same also what.. maybe after that you want other phone then can buy other phone ma..

i walked off when he was attending to another customer..

suddenly a lot of thoughts ran through my mind..
1. if he that time said can now say cannot, can his words be trusted? what if after i buy he dont wanna buy back?
2. if i sell him back then wont it be used? he will still accept at the same price i bought it? and if he accepts then he selling 2nd hand phones as 1st hand then wont i also be a possible victim? maybe this phone he wanna sell me also is the same situation happened de? who knows?

never trust a person too much just because that person looks nice and friendly.. you might just be conned.. i trust no one.. except dear and those real close to me.. time will reveal everything..
